Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi
Welcome to India!! On arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will escort you to your hotel and assist you in check-in.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi
After breakfast, will start the sightseeing of Delhi. You’ll first go for Old Delhi sightseeing, starting with Jama Masjid, the country's largest mosque, built-in 17th Century. It was built by same Mughal emperor who built the Taj Mahal. The mosque's courtyard is capable of holding 25,000 devotees at once. Next, enjoy the Rikshaw ride at Chandni Chowk. Later visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi - Father of the Nation.
Afterward, drive pass Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House), Parliament House, and India Gate - a war memorial constructed in the memory of 70,000 Indian soldiers who fought in World War I. Visit the Guru Dwara Bangala Sahib (Sikh temple) & last visit of the India’s biggest local temple Akshardham Mandir. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 3 - Delhi - Jaipur (275 km/05 hours)
After breakfast drive towards Jaipur by private car.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into your hotel and relax. Later, visit the famous Moti Dungari Ganesh Ji temple and enjoy the folk dances of Rajasthan with dinner at Jaipur. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 4 - Jaipur
After breakfast proceeds for an excursion of Amber Fort. Situated on the Hill, was once the capital and residence of the Jaipur Royal Family.
Enjoy the Elephant ride at Amber Fort to feel like royal guests. Fort is notable for its Hindu (Rajput era architecture) & mix of Mughal architecture also. Big gates, ramps, beautiful palaces like – Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Sukh Mandir y Raja Man Mahal, etc.
Later drive pass at the Jal Mahal (Water Palace) & famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds), after that visit the city palace (present residence of the Royal family Jaipur) & Jantar Mantar (observatory). Enjoy the folk music & dances of the Rajasthan with dinner.
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5- Jaipur - Abhaneri - Agra (240 km/05 hours)
After breakfast drive towards Agra, 240 km (approximately five hours). En route, visit the famous village Abhaneri – Chand Baori (Stepwell) one of the biggest stepwells in India with 3500 steps & 13 levels & visit the Harsha Mata Temple – Goddess of Joy & happiness. On arrival in Agra, check in at hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6- Agra - New Delhi (200 km/04 hours)
Early morning visit the magnificent Taj Mahal. This world-famous monument was built as a mausoleum by Shah Jahan in the memory of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. When included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, it was described as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage". Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world.
Back to the hotel, breakfast at the hotel.
Check out from the hotel and visit the famous Red Fort & continuously drive towards Delhi.
Enjoy departure dinner at New Delhi. Overnight stay at New Delhi.
Day 7- Delhi - Amritsar (By air)
In the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to airport for Amritsar. Amritsar is the major tourist attraction. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.
Sightseeing: Golden Temple - the most important Sikh shrine, living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs, then visit Jallianwala Bagh - where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. Evening visit Indo - Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony - Wagah, an army outpost on Indo - Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.nd tradition is entirely different here. The day comes to end move back to hotel for night stay.
Day 8- Amritsar - Delhi Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi. As soon as you arrive the staff representative will assist you to drop at international airport to catch the flight back home. The eye catching and heart touching moments will stay till eternity.
